How Kinesense handles your data under GDPR, which cookies this site sets, and how to exercise your data rights.

GDPR Commitment
At Kinesense, we are committed to ensuring the security and protection of the personal information that we process, and to provide a compliant and consistent approach to data protection.
We have a robust and effective data protection programme in place which complies with existing law and abides by the data protection principles. However, we recognise our obligations in updating and expanding this programme to meet the demands of the GDPR.
Everything we do is driven by the real-world needs of the investigators we support. Protecting their data is part of that mission.
Cookies
This website sets two kinds of cookie: strictly necessary cookies, which keep our forms free of spam, and analytics cookies, which are only set if you allow them. We use no advertising cookies, and fonts are served from our own domain rather than from a third party.
Analytics cookies
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a small notice asks on your first visit whether we may use Google Analytics, and analytics stays off unless you choose Allow. If you visit from anywhere else, there is no notice: analytics runs by default, and you can switch it off with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. We work out which applies from the region your connection comes from, which Cloudflare determines from your IP address without storing it. If the region cannot be determined, the notice is shown.
When analytics runs, Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, sets two cookies so that we can count visits and see which pages are useful: _ga, which distinguishes one visitor from another, and _ga_QGDJ0BNLTJ, which keeps track of the current visit. Both last up to two years.
If you choose Decline, or if the notice is shown and you make no choice, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are not loaded at all and neither cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Switching analytics off removes these cookies.
Cookieless measurement
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you across other websites, so it does not need your consent.
Strictly necessary
Cloudflare Turnstile, the spam check on our contact, demo request and newsletter forms, may set a cookie when you submit one of those forms. Your cookie choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage for 12 months, so that the notice does not reappear on every page; after that we ask again. Whether the notice applies to your region is remembered for the rest of your browser session, in session storage, so the check is not repeated on every page. The Customer Login and Partner Login links in the site header take you to separate Kinesense sites, which have their own terms.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules. Analytics cookies do, which is why, for visitors from Europe, they stay off until you allow them. If you block cookies altogether, every page still works.
